Karma for both the red bulls really, webber didnt want it to start, Vettel was trying to get them to stop early. Both out.

Sutil has had some action today!

Decent enough result for Hamilton.

Leaves the Championship like this:

Alonso 231pts
Webber 220pts
Hamilton 210pts
Vettel 206pts
Button LOL

Good result that. Hamilton could never have kept the lead even if he didn't balls up the restart.

Can't believe how many bits and pieces were flying out the back of Vettels car

Incidentally does anybody know why Lewis didn't get a 5 place grid drop for changign his gearbox? his 3rd gear went in the last race?
He received the penalty in the last race in Japan. He changed it during qualifying or after so incurred the grid penalty in the race

I think he was asking as he then changed the gearbox AGAIN after the race which would have incured another penalty due to the number of races a gearbox has to last BUT apparently there is a rule that if you change your gearbox and then it goes wrong again you are allowed to change it incase the initial damaged gearbox did more damage than just to it self thus ending up damaing the new one as well.

Goes to show how costly Hamiltons no finishes could end up. Even 4/5th in each race would make it much closer now.

Next race we just need Button to give Alonso a nudge although I can't see him being anywhere near him as hes been pretty poor the last few races.

I was shouting at the TV for about 10 mins when that safety car was driving round, they've drove in far far worse conditions.

Was enjoyable once got underway though, I done a dance when I seen the Redbulls retiring

COME ON HAMILTON!

That clears it up cheers Rob.

Next 2 races Lewis needs to get ahead of the Red bulls which wont be easy, I'm not too worried about Alonso as he just can't get past Webber & Vettel, I think it's going to be interesting none the less, Still a big ask for Lewis though

AWESOME race. This championship will never be beaten, its just so crazy

Went mental celebrating when Webber and Vettel went out Fair play to Alonso, dont like the guy but drove well and kept his tyres the best, ditto to Vettel in all honesty, probably most deserving of the win at that race.

Still think the title will go to one of the RB drivers. Dont want this championship to end, its the best ever!

Hmmm... if Hamilton can win the final two races (unlikely, granted) and Alonso comes in second...

Alonso would win the title by seven points

If he does win it i bet it is by less than 7 points, putting that German grand Prix result back in the spotlight. Its been that type of season!

Ive been saying for a while Mclaren should just use Button as a battering ram at the start to take out the RBs and Alonso
