But I think it's repeat offenders, so if you don't go over the limit too often then it's alright

same as BT 1gb every 24 hours... but they dont really care up to 1300 as long as you dont take the piss... after 1gb, your not simply cut off, its just logged and monitored.
My mate took the piss once and did 1.5 gig 2 days in a row... had a letter... nothing much more

most companys let you download a Gb then just decresse your download speed after that.

im on ntl 1 meg line and i do well over 2 gig a day having an ftp, and so far nothing heard from them, they dont stop the service they just supposed to ring you up and adv how you can not downlaod as much data, or thats how the ntl website puts it

I use Nildram and i must download approx 3gig a day, and due to my ftp probably upload 30k/s all day so at least a gig, not heard anything

I'm on Nildram aswell, there's a 150Gb/month limit according to the ADSL Guide message boards...
I've regularly downloaded 1-2Gb a day, much better than being restricted so harshly as NTL claim to be doing!

I have never been limited by NTL and often download 1GB+ in the space of 10hours or so
