Well it will work 2 - 3 weeks with o problems, then with switch itself of and flash error 13 which is no connection to PCB or something like that. Turn it off on the main switch, leave it for a bit, switch it back on and its fine. We had a leak inside of it but that got sorted. I wonder it water got inside a plug and some times there is no contact where one should be?

ya sounds like it needs a new PCB, they arnt cheap though, on the plus side they are easy to change

thats still quite cheap, is there no where that does refurbed ones and takes your old one in part ex
managed to do that with an Ideal one a few weeks back

Right, now it has broken again. Been working fine-ish, some times throwing the error 13.
now when ever we switch on the boiler the extractor fan( i think it is anyway) trying to kick but can't. so is switchin on and off. on and off.

13 is main pcb connection fault, did you get a new board fitted??

My dad fixed it yesterday. needed some soldering to the board where power unit is mounted, works fine now (touch wood)
