One of the offices in work has 1 Ethernet port in it and 2 PC's, I think I need a switch to get the 2 computers on the network?
If so, which one is best/cheapest that will work?

Only a tenner, I installed one a few months ago at a customer's site and had no problems reported.

You may need to talk to your help desk. At work, only authorised MAC addresses can be connected to the network. By sticking in a switch like you want to, throws up all sorts or errors.
Depends on you network setup.

I'd go with the HP Procurve 1410, a little more but they are solid Gb switches. As Ocean said, i'd chat to IT and get them to sort it (they main even run another nic line from the main switch etc) as it could cause issues.

Anything very cheap will do the job assuming there's not MAC filtering and you're not running at Gigabit.
Sam's suggestion is a valid one if so.

Cheers guys, spot on
I'll earn brownie points for sorting it, the office managers suggestion was tearing walls down to install new ports
