Yes build in Wireless N and a gigabit ethernet port. I will be streaming Content wirelessly from my NAS box inititally. Then when I move I intend to have the player wired directly to a gigabit router.

If it does not have built in Wireless N then must have a dongle available.

No Sam keeping it, just still going through the motions of optimising it and have had some although intermittent success with data read/write speeds. Still sifting through millions of articles/threads on the netgear community forums.

I sent the Netgear DGN2000 router back, it exhibited all of the issues reported by people on the interwebz, was running bloody hot and kept dropping internet connection and wireless despite firmware upgrade. In summary a complete piece of shit.

I have just gone for this bad boy : http://www.netgear.co.uk/home_wndr3700.php

And managed to get hold of a basic Netgear ADSL modem for only £15.

I previously used my Vaio as a blu ray player so in essence I just want a Piece of hardware that plays Blu-Rays and can play media that is streamed from the NAS. This is looking like a good option to be honest, got pretty much best player in price range awards from nearly everyone : http://www.richersounds.com/product/blu-ray/sony/bdps570-mr/sony-bdps570-blk
