I've started looking into buying one of these shortly after xmas. I've come across a few good ones whilst looking on the internet.

Anybody actually had any experiences with them? What are they like as a day to day car? What to watch out for? Whats the 4x4 system like? etc.

I actually want one as i've always loved cav's and wouldn't mind one you can have a bit of fun in

Old car.

Had a calibra spent a fortune replacing everything and anything when it worked ot was lovely.

For the money though you could buy something better

They are mostly FWD, only send power to the rear when the front loses grip. Plagued with transfer box and other problems.

Loved my Cav Turbo - great car.
4x4 worked fine, but they are weak.

Locked box etc will do the trick to sort that, but as the others have rightly said, its all money which could be put use to a better car.

Shame I dont have the pics of my old one anymore.
