Well according to SSN we do - although FIFA apparently have issues with the amount of hotels and training places we have.

Guess that didn't have those issues with South Africa!!!

If we don't get it then it's rigged.

Spain and Portugal - Portugal had the Euro's only a few years ago.
Russia - See Winter Olympics for why they shouldnt have it.
Holland and Belgium - Hosted the Euro's a few years ago.

We clearly have everything needed to host it. Plus as a small country it's easy to get about.

Hit it on the head Nath. We had the Euros in 96 and since nothing and all the others are worse decisions.

The fact that there are a number of Russian footballers saying it should NOT go to Russia due to the state it is in and it should go to England tells you something.

If Russia get it they will go on about re-generation and all that sort of stuff and how it will help the country etc etc. The fact that is wholey corrupt (like FIFA) will have nothing to do with it.

The fact that FIFA say the whole bidding scam has harmed out bid shows its colours. So we highlighted the fact its totally corrupt and thats a bad thing?

As a collection we already had almost the best stadiums in the world

If such a backward nation like bloody South Africa can stage a Worl Cup then Blatter can frankly GTF if he thinks we don't have the facilities......... Blatter is anti-English, so is Platini at Uefa so that's why I reckon we won't get it.....people who effectively run football hate the mother nation of football.

While we're on the subject of arseholes running Fifa, what I don't get is that England is the home of football so Fifa headquarters should be in England and run by an Englishman....
I'll go a little bit further as well, football was invented in Sheffield (oldest football team in the world is Sheffield FC) so London can GTF as well cos the Fifa HQ should be in Sheffield. They are regenerating our city centre at the minute and there is a fair bit of land about, will have a chat with the council over the next few days to see if I can procure some land for the new HQ.

Even the name FIFA grates on me (Fédération Internationale de Football Association ), so with the relocation I'll re-brand as well to something like SFABITROTWWPTWLT (Sheffield Football Association But If The Rest Of The World Wanna Play Then We'll Let Them).... that's my first stab so clearly needs a little work.

Ste are you available to comment on Bramall Lane being Wednesdays old ground, but they go to big and needed to relocate so it was left for the smaller team (united) to play in. Also is it true that you will never acheive the success that Wednesday received?

Yeh I've got a few minutes to comment regarding the oldest professional football ground in the world.....

Wednesday were established in 1867 so they had the ground, when we popped up in 1889 we (in true blades tradition) overthrew the grunters and took there ground. Evicted them and they ended up moving across the city to Owlerton Stadium (taking the first 3 letters and getting there nickname) before moving to Swillsborough.

As for success....we have 4 FA Cups, wednesday have 3 so it proves we are more successful (don't get on about league titles, no-one cares about them).
Furthermore we have beaten Wednesday more times than they have beat us so we are the masters.
