I know that Rich H will probably know but its irritating me...
I hadn't washed my car for about a month because of the shite weather and there is one place on my windscreen that stopped beading... I thought it was just because of not being washed and a large amount of dirt had got onto that one bit stopping it from beading.
However, I washed the car and polished the windows throughly with Autoglym car glass polish the other day, and alas the same spot is still not beading, making the windscreen look stupid...
Picture...
I know its not the best picture but its raining and its starting to get dark...
You can see the spot im on about.
And just a quick shot of my bonnet beading, just for good measure
Thanks for any help

Clean the windscreen with a bit of white spirit or petrol, that'll sort it

Its annoying me that the whole of the windscreen is beading and just this patch is looking like it does. Like the other peoples cars down my road, look like that all over and its annoying!

Put some bubble wrap in strategically located parts of your windscreen, then yours too will bead just like everyone elses!

Autoglym glass polish is shite IMO.
Try Rainex glass cleaner, i use that on all my windows, then apply rainex to the front & rear screens.

Hi my girlfriend is the owner of a glass dildo which unfortunately has a chip in it.
Could you use your resin technology on it and will my insurance pay for the repair?

Hi
If a windscreen is chipped we will always try to repair it first. If that's not possible then we replace it.
And, that's exactly what your girlfriend's going to have to do - get a replacement.
As it's not a car window it won't be covered by your motor insurance policy even if you have glass damage cover. Neither is pet insurance likely to cover it. How about checking the small print of your home contents policy...
