You should be able to use your drivers licence for all of EU, not just UK
I've never tried it...but you 'should' be able to!

Aye technically you should be able to use drivers licence, there is no law to state otherwise. Problem occurs because different travel methods have their own rules and regulations.

Can she not get an emergency one? Like a temp one? Phone the passport office. I remember some girls who lost their passports whilst away and got given emergency temp ones...

Interesting. Cuz I got thinking when all this was going on that if we were over there and she lost it (wouldn't put it past her) how would we get back into this mighty fine country. I'll bare that in mind when she finds it and looses it again before we're due to go away!
