If a dog hasn't got a leader, it will think it's his job, ignore any advice that punishes the dog after the event, dogs don't learn that way, if you catch it pooing on the carpet, don't shout at it, it'll just think it's not supposed to get caught and be scared to do it infront of you. Ignore Chloe16v when she comes along, having lots of dogs you "love to bits" doesn't make you an expert and most importantly never ever feed it after midnight.

Bingo Russ

I'll add - Get some treats, the small sticks you break off. When they do a shit, praise and a treat

With the biting, just ignore him. She'll soon learn he gets no attention if he bites. If she's barking, whining, begging etc don't go to her. Ignore her 100% even if its doing your head in.

Its about showing her how your pack structure is, who is the leader, who is in front of her. No human should be below her, so if you show her attention over your girlfriend or you don't let anyone else give control commands, she wont learn. When out on walks, start using commands now if your not. Wait/Stop at the road side along with a short tug on the lead until she stays still when crossing a road etc etc

Any of the Cesar Millan books are wortha read

My mums dog was trained within about 2 weeks only shat on the floor once in 3 years odd, if it does something bad just say "no" or "ah" or something, don't say its name or it will associate its name with badness.
Take it out for a piss/shit every 2 hours or something and say something like "go for a pee" everytime so it eventually knows what to do and in the end the dog will tell you if it needs out

Apparantly the bite on the ear does the trick, personally a good tap on the nose
