Seeing as you're in Wrexham, I can't help you directly
A DA polisher is best for a noobie, take a look at this guide: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=63859
And you can get them from various sites: Elite Car Care, Clean Your Car, i4detailing to name a few
Take your time, and prior prep is the key - decent wash, decontamination etc.
