Got a phone call today to let me know I got a new job

Been working with Network Rail for the past 2 years and I've never liked it, so started looking for new jobs.

Got myself a 4 year apprenticeship as a pipeline welder, in the oil industry now so there's big money to be made after the 4 years are over (£4.90 an hour 1st year )

Car has to go too as I have a fair old daily commute but sacrifices must be made I suppose!

Yeah mate it'll be well worth it. Congrats! I was on £120/week my first year. Wasn't able to run a car till my second year. You'll be on mega money soon enough.

Kind of worried about the 1st year money as I need a car to travel 100 miles a day, been saving though so should manage.
