im not fat but getting chubby and hate myself for it...

best way to shed 1-1.5 stone?

i weight just over 12 and a half stone. im 5,7"...

eat 500 cals less than maintenance, run everyday for 60 mins

I also hate running. Can weights with a little cardio...ei bike, row machine ect help?

Silly question TBH. ANYTHING that uses enengy is good, further more the more muscle you have the more your body will consume calories so it's a win/win.

sorry, i presumed you where lifting already.

yeah lift 3 - 4 times a week, and stick some cardio straight after like 30 - 40 mins, doesnt have to be intense, just something to raise your heart rate

but make sure you burn more cals in a day than you eat.

tbf you could skip cardio completly if you count your cals very carefully, lifting burns quite a lot of cals any way.

but cardio always helps, plus nout wrong with getting a bit fitter.

Do you really want to lose weight though?. 12.5stones a good weight for your height, you could stack some muscle to your frame.

you dont want to be skinny and short (im short too)

do some weights.

iirc some scientists done a study and worked out a weightlifting session burns the same amount of calories as an hour playing football.

and put those pastries back, they won't be helping

you aren't really fat though. i'm 12-12 and a half stone but 5 inches taller.

just watch wat your eating cut out pop and crisps cakes. the things you know are no good for you and just hit 30 mins of cardio every second day. soon drop off

i go to the gym 3 times a week im 5ft 11 and weigh 13 stone, i found with carefull eating, ive toned up and lost alot of my flabby parts like my belly legs etc, not aiming for a beach body but anything possible, just dont expect changes over night
