Lloyds have my joint account which is in the process of being "online" and I love them so far.

I'm over my rage now but considering the coop still might go have a chat with the branch tommorow

I work in BPI (Business Process Improvement). Having only been with your main bank a short period of time can ring alarm bells in terms of credit scoring but obviously a lot of other factors come into it.

Thats another thing that put me off our current account, as far as i'm aware they can't be operated online.

coots and st james place are pretty good for savings and pensions , some very good investment opportunities too, better than just getting interest anyway, get a nice breakdown every quarter of what everyone of your pennies has been doing

Jambo, if you earn less than the threshold, open up a savings account with them.

Something like an e-saver is fine, drop in £10. Means you don't have to pay the monthly fees

I've been with Santander for 6 years and not had any problems. They were excellent at sorting out my money and making up new accounts for bills to come out of and savings etc so I knew exactly what money left was mine

You do get the bonus twice a year aswel with Britannia/Co-op, its not usually much but better than a kick in the teeth.

I am with HSBC but I have had no problems with them tbf, Someone stated going with the Coop, I work for the Food branch and unless you live within reason to a bank branch it's not worth it because they take forever with paperwork.

My dad has never had a problem with Nationwide.

ME and my mum have never had a problem with HSBC, their online banking is spot on as well.

My mortgage is with Halifax and I havent had any trouble with them yet...

Stay away from Santander, shocking customer service
