Hi guys, can't manage to find my locking nut anywhere and I need to remove my alloys for new tyres. How would you get them off? Can you drill them off? Do halfords sell anything to remove them?

Thanks

^ That's your best bet as long as you've got an impact gun. Tyre place might even be able to do it, no doubt they'll have one.

If not a hammer and chisel works as long as you can get at it.

Even if you go to a garage with that socket and give them a bung you could get a bolt taken out of each wheel and still drive aorund.

DON'T IMPACT GUN THEM!!!! Far better to smack a multi hex socket on (you have to hit it hard and don't expect it to come off first time) then with a 1/2 bar slacken them off. A windy gun will just shere the bolt due to the torque. Easiest way i've found, although not easy to do imo

Or weld a nut on the end of the locking wheel bolt and slacken off the nut.

Exactly, as long as you use the right size of extractor it's be fine.
