That's why I think he cleaned it in the car park Either that or just up the road. Even the exhaust tip was completely soot free, which is more than can be said for mine.

Sorry Dave, I've removed the tag on Facebook as I'd rather not let everyone on FB know what I drive.,

Oh right, so you haven't come out to everyone on there yet then. Fair enough mate, but you needn't be embarrassed. It's who you are

I'd cleaned the car the day before and just dried it. Think I was about 25 miles from the place, but it was dirty by the time I got there, just obviously didn't show the dirt up much!
Thanks for the pic and comments though

done abit of research
basicaly dyno dynamics have worked out that X temp will give a Y % increase or decrease in power
so weather its a -10degrees day or 40degrees summer day your car will run same power* Techicaly
They use inlet air temps sensor to measure air temps going into the the engine - which lets the rollers no the intake temps, along with other figures like barometic pressures humidity etc
not the most accurate why of measureing intake temps, as on turbo cars best place to measure is after the intercooler. If using data logging figures from the engine ecu and input them into the dyno, depending on the car, boost pressure etc you can get more power 'figures'
