Been looking at these for a while now. Would love one as a summer toy and a refurb project when time/money allowed.

Anyone had any dealings with them at all?

Are they as epicly cool as I think they are or am I getting old before my time?

Obviously this thread would be useless without pics....so....

I have had one in the back of my yard for a while. It's my mates. Painting it Porsche speed yellow
rust like buggery though

My mate is just finishing restoring one. He had to buy two to get one to work. That tells you something.

We had a Herald (same chassis) and it was hard to find steel amongst the rust. Ended up selling it to someone who had a good chassis but knackered body.

As far as they're concerned, two into one does go.

Prefer the spitfire tbh. Hardtop on the gt6 isn't as nice as the ragtop.
