I've also got a full length trench coat - got it when I was 15 
Wore it out once and saw some other bearded geek wearing one - put mine in the cupboard and its never moved since

I honest to god have seen someone with a full length leather coat in the town with one of the Matrix plugs stuck on the back of their neck.

Not a fan. They're uncomfortable and don't look the best either.
I did have a brown leather one with American Air Force badges sewn on when I was about 5 however. Coupled with my Reebok Pumps I was untouchable at the swing park.

I got a black superdry one last year, its in the circulation of 2 or 3 jackets that I wear, don't own a big coat.
