How much does a wheel weigh? Say a 16" alloy?

Would stick a spare on the bathroom scales but the battery is flat

just the alloy? varies a lot depending on it's width, material it is made from, it's design.

How long is a piece of string?

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
