hi guys had my 1.6 sport for about 6 months engine and drivetrain are standard,
about a month ago the car was hard to engage gears especially 1st,3rd and 4th
i adjusted the clutch cable and was fine for a week then it started again so i readjusted
was ok but is now doing the same in all gears, the car is on 89,000 miles and has never had a clutch could this be the problem?

Does she slip a wee bit when driven hard?
Sounds like a new clutch is required to me

takes a tiny bit to pick up sometimes but nothing that iv really noticed

See before you adjust the cable, where is the clutch pedal when the clutch engages? Close to the floor or is it high?

the biting point is about 2 inch from the floor so the clutch isnt even high it just is hard to get into gear whilst driving
