Well i got my first decent camera last week, Canon 400d with the kit lens.
Complicated is an understatement Trying to learn as i go along but its proving hard so far.

Been taking shots of random things here and there, ill put a few up and tell me what you guys think(where im going wrong or right etc)



Im not too excited about this one, just looks boring.


This is my favorite so far, but it looks like it could be more focussed.

Good start mate, it will live round your neck for a couple of weeks now

I'm guessing you used the flash for the 3rd one? The focus is fine, I would just say the flash has washed out the bottle slightly. Play around with the exposure length, if you shorten it slightly you wont get as vivid flash washout. I have a 400d too and im sure there is an option in the menus to mess around with the flash exposure compensation. Trial and error is the best way to learn
