recommend me a good day/nightime CCTV system i can install on my house to look onto my drive, preferably wireless , seen some for around the 120 pound mark on Maplins, are they any good or anyone had any experience with them?

Id steer clear of wireless unless you wanna spend good money.
Just geta decent IR cam and a card and DVR prog for your PC.

I got mine from ebuyer it was £250 with 4 cams. I set it up to record on motion and it can be viewed from your mobile using dyn dns.

The only problem i had were spiders spinning webs on the cams, i think they are attracted to the IR heat.
Night mode is great, i was really impressed as it was loads better than i expected. My cams are wired btw.

Also handy if you live downstairs(upside down layout)/at the back of the house and want to see what's going on without moving from the couch.

Got stuff robbed from my mothers house the other day and she lives in a nice area (farm type thing)
Why would someone go robbing on a shitty estate. Nothing to nick!

yes i live in windsor which should be a nice area, unfortunately my bedroom is at the back of the house and drive is out the front, would be nice to have some form of cctv so i can see and check should i hear anything untoward or if anyone tries anything.

Thats true actually! I also didnt notice the Subaru on the drive on that pic, guess thats prime target regardless of the area you live in.

Thanks for that, going to order now as its a pain having to keep on evicting the spiders.

Its not that great where i live but my estate isnt too bad. I work dam hard to pay for a nice house/car and i want to defend my property from the thiefing scum! Had a car stolen when i was 18 always been paranoid since.

I think these days cameras are ok anywhere, even in good neighborhoods. Even for simple things like if you get an aggressive door 2 door salesman or somebody nicks a garden gnome lol. Also might be a great neighbourhood but these places still get robbed now and again
