I've managed to borrow a car for tomorrow now... MiTo has picked a brilliant time to pick up a puncture, don't fancy rolling a space saver on the country roads tomorrow!

The arm's are broken, the splines are fine. There's play where the bit that you bolt down meets the actual arm on both wipers. Tried to nut and bolt one as a temp measure but still got the play. Grr.

How would I know whats broken on my sisters, the passenger side can be moved right up the windscreen by hand & doesnt move when the wipers are turned on
