Ok. I got £150 to spend on front speakers, adapters etc. (abt £15??). so that leaves me £135 for the actual speakers. So, the big Q is what to get?
Some info's, I dont run an amp *yet*, but may in the future. So they would be run off my HU which is a Sony CDX M730 with 52wrms. I dont want spkrs that are gonna need modding of door cards/pocket, so 13cm ones i think are right?
Also, is it best to get 3 ways or a full component system with ext. tweeter?
in the rear i got JBL 300w 6x9's if that affects...they give out good bass so need something of a similar league. I am planning on getting an amp tho.

I would allways recommend Infinites 655cs's 6 1/2"/17cm components... £99
Will need adapters as well £12-ish, and you will NOT need to do any mods to the door cards/pockets etc...
Sound great with or without an amp... nice clear clean sound with plenty of punch from the bass.
Forget 3 way replacements NOT!! worth it.
If you plan on getting a sub in the near future then you can then get rid of the 6x9's you won't need them, but fir now they will do a grand job of giving you that little extra bass.

for 17cm speakers what spacers are needed?? i heard that some kinda spacer is needed in order to fit the speakers correctly.
