Hi guys im struggling at the moment on were to mount this oil pressure sensor i bought a sandwich plate adaptor for sensors to go into put i cant get the sensor clear of missing driveshaft or missing oil cooler pipes is there any flexi pipe i can get that will screw into sandwich plate and lets me mount the sensor in engine bay or something?

what i did on mine was take the original vauxhall oil pressure light sensor out of the pump and put the new sender in. it dosnt fit straight in but i found adapter lying round the garage to screww on to the sender then screwed the whole thing in the oil pump. hope this helps

If you see my Calibra build thread on migweb (username Nemesis) you'll see how i mounted the sandwich plate, oil cooler plate and sender. It is possible!

it was like a nut that had thread on the outside too. i screwed this onto the sender then screwed the nut thread thing into the oil pump. pictire paints a thousand words so i will try and get pic

yeh i had one on them like a step up reducer but the body of the sensor hits the engine :S
