The worst thing that happened to Theo was going to the WC in 2006 when only 16/17. He was shoved into the spotlight and massive pressure was put on him for the most important part of his career. If he hadn't gone we could be looking at a different player.

Nanis assists have come from... fulham, westham,everton(2),liverpool, bolton,west brom, spurs,villa, blackburn, stroke,
Nani goals have come from .... west ham, bolton, west brom, spurs, blackburn, stoke
So far this year nani has scored one goal and one assist against a top 6 club and they were both in the same game v spurs .
Walcot has also scored one goal and one assist against a top 6 side this year - and again it was in the same game against chelsea.
So again he is not far off nanis season returns
