A mate has a digital SLR and has just bought a remote to allow him to do time lapse photography. He's mainly bought it for his own photography stuff, but I'm also going to rope him into doing some stuff for me on details

What software is used to create time lapse videos though? Is it just a case of something like Movie Maker but sped right up?

Suggestions / recommendations please! (As free as possible )

Cheers

Cheers!

Am I right in thinking each frame appearing for a second is more than enough?
