Selling a bumper on ebay and some guy wants it but doesnt have paypal and said he can do a bank transfer, so i assume i need to give him my account number and sort code?

Is this safe doing this or could he rip me off somehow?

iirc can't do anything with those details, apart from pay money in.

Worst he could do is sign you up for a direct debit to a charity iirc

Should be fine. If anything it's more of a risk for him than you as he'll have no comeback if you don't send the goods.
