2pm tomorrow is the 20 week scan, we are going to find out if it has a winkie or not.
So, bets in, boy or girl?
If you were having a bairn, would you find out, and would you rather have a boy or a girl?
I'm hoping for a boy, cheaper to run i recon, and after all the pervy threads on here i'd hate toh ave a daughter & herget letched over on t'interweb. Would be equally distressing to find the boy getting letched over, perhaps moreso actually.

You know what i mean, girls want dolls with every extra, a pony, a bike, a dog, a cat.
Give a lad a ps3, a catapult & a spud gun & you wont see him for 13 years!
Plus the whole wedding thing, my dad got stung for that when sis got married.

You only need to worry about 1 dick if it's a boy and several thousand if it's a girl.

Depends, if you really really want a boy, then find out so you have 4/5 months to get used to the idea of a girl
edit - i wanted a boy, but from the first second you wont care what you have because it's an awesome feeling

I know it wont make any difference, just wonder if other people have a preference?
I personally dont see how it can be more exciting or special not finding out til the day, this way i can get the nursery sorted, we can think of names & people can get gifts to suit.
I guess its just because im anal & like to control everything & be prepared.

That's why I'd find out again otherwise every bit of clothing you buy has to be a nuetral colour
Be warned though I know someone who was told they were having a girl so everything was painted pink etc then had a boy

We didn't find out last time and won't next time either. Jen wanted a suprise. I'd have quite liked to know but didn't mind waiting.

Yeh, i heard they can miss 'things', though if you get told its a boy its 9/10 a boy. But girls can still be boys.
Anyone get one of those 3D scans? They disturb me.

Its a nice suprise.
The buying clothes/painting etc isnt an issue.
Just buy a selection of neutral clothes. Once baby is born youcan go buy everything in colours.
Baby wont be in nursery to begin with, so thats not much of an issue either. Are's is already painted magnoila, when baby is born, i will be heading home when i have to, and will wallpaper it.
