iv got v6 brakes but the disc need redrilling. is it safe to use 280 discs as v6 are 288. because 8mm is big difference. anyone got 280's on and are there any problems

I've got 280's on mine mate its fine, on the 288's the pads don't touch the edge anyway that's why theres sometimes a lip worn on them :-)

theres lots of people of here with 280's, i think if they did get that worn to cause any problems the extra bit of pad would snap off before locking the wheel up anyway
