ive got a corsa whih has a 1.6 c16se engine 8v i was using a f13 and i think it had blew the box what i want to no is whats the diffrence between a f13 and a f15cr box , like the benefits and the downside as i think i want a f15 this time
all help apreciated

mines done 149 thousand and still goiung strong

An f13 is what you get on 1.2's f15 is a 1.6 box, get the f15, whcih should be stronger and has longer ratios.

F15 is stronger and generally has longer ratios although if you got for a F15CR I'm not sure how they would compare. Fairly similar at a guess.

well at moment i have well i had great set off with f13 gearbox but its now fucked up so was wondering would i have as much set off with f15cr ?

So the F15 is longer.

Not sure what FD the F13 will have if its from an Astra but probably still won't make it longer than the GSi box.

Actually I have it mixed up. F15 is shorter than both of the F13 variants.

So yeah, it'll be better off the mark with the F15 although rev higher on the motorway.
