The new streets album landed on my door mat this morning, its kind of sad but great at the same time. The last Streets album and its a return to the earlier days, cool beats loads of reflection, lots of humour and very catchy tunes. A downside could be there are lot of chorus vocals but they work for me, but I know they dont for other hiphop lovers.

Production wise its all over the place but in a good way, sounds basic at times and raw but other times heavy and slick.

Its a pretty heavy one though, not as light and bouncy as previous albums but for me in a good way. All seems rather fitting for a last album (if it is!).

first listen stand out tracks for me are:

Outside Inside
Those that dont Know
Without Thinking
Trust Me
Tying to Kill M.E

Its a heavy one but a good one

Anyone else heard it thoughts?

Have you seen them live before? I have seen over a 100 acts live and they are well up there with the best, Mike Skinner is a really good performer. Enjoy!

I was trying to get my mates to come with me to Birmingham to see him, but they won't

Have seen him live on tv a few times and looks like a great gig to go to!

Will have to acquire his latest album now.

All the previous albums have taken a while to grow on me, but it turns out I love them in the end

No, always wanted too.

Sister bought me the tickets for my christmas, I'm well delighted.

Sounds like it'll be a good show
