interested in removing SAI too not sure how it helps though or any problems removing either can cause so would like to hear from someone

SAI gives more room in engine bay, tidys it up.
EGR, dont bother unless you having problems with it.

SAI gives more room as said, No more noise of it when you start the car from cold. I have a couple of blanking plates for the SAI hole in the exhaust.
EGR is only worth doing if it causes a problem.

SAI is designed to assist in bringing the Cat to optimal operating temperature sooner.
Removing it just increases that time, so nothing that major really.
