Some of the later Lambo/Ferrari kits are fairly good. I've seen them a few times at kit car shows and you do need to know what you're looking for.

they are pretty accurate, but for what they are you may aswell just have a exact repllica model to go on your drive,
id rather have something that drives as good as it looks for £19k

I'd have more respect for someone who bought a nice M3 for £19k than a person with a fake super car.

Know a lad who is currently re-building a countach kit car, He not long finished a ferarri based on a toyota mr2.
Heres the ferarri. Has genuine ferrari seats, brakes and wheels.
And the lambo when he got it. Had been stood on a driveway for 10 years as an unfinished project when he got it!
Hes hoping for it to be finished this year, Hes been on it for well over 12 months fixing all the bodges and getting everything right! It had a v8 out of an old rover, Now has a TVR v8 in it running on elderbrook carbs and a straight through exhaust. Sounds

the kit cars are intresting but never comparable to the real thing
that 700bhp monster which i think is one of Shaids would be fun but if you look at Roy Ashbys at Pod makes you think twice about driving one on the street at that power
its scary how far they extend the cars out looking at those kits

To me I just don't get it. It will never be a Ferrari without the mechanicals. Thus completely pointless

a 4 cylinder will never sound like a V10
unless you have lots of speakers and a good cd
personally i like the sound and looks of my mr2 in standard ISH form
