no be seeing how you go on about people buying new cars and the money they waste I thought it maybe worth while for you estimate how much you have spent on it including buying it compared to what its worth

I enjoy the whole repairing, upgrading and maintaining journey though, its money where you can see where it goes and alot of the bits i've done myself.

its the losing money on depreciation and owning a boring/standard car for 3yrs that i comment on, i'm not being a hypocrite about it, no car is free to own and i feel i've got more enjoyment from my money.

its funny as if you look back into the 60's most cars were curvy and wavey lines as straight and sharp angles were harder to produce.

then everything got square and sharp lines, and now there's a bit of a random mix between the two, like a curvy car, with a random sharp line down the side

yeah. not had a problem with them since fitting. the originals kept seizing etc. stops well when you need it. can't really comment on brake fade as I don't drive that hard for long enough.

rears were worth it too but cost me quite a bit

Think the early 1992 Golf VR6 had 280mm brakes up until 1993,then they were changed to 288s.

When did they stop making the Corrado VR6??

1996 was the last, mainly storms at that age.

i had to buy golf brakes from a VR6 highline golf, made after 1995 as that when the golf got more power and better brakes (so i was told)
