Looking for a white corsa to buy atm , preferabally a nice clean shell .

Was wandering why white ones are not so common as other colour's like arden or silver . And also did they make white corsa witha 1.2 16v engine as all the ones I've looked at are 8v ?

Also could you post some pics up of some white corsa's if you got time

Nath!

Dont think they did 16v's apart from the 1/4 and 1/6 Sports, could be wrong though, they do look smart in white!

I had a white 1.4, no pics though, blew it up after 5 mins of owning it

White ones aren't as common because from new you could upgrade to fancy colours like metallic arden blue for free, and white wasn't as popular in the 90s as it is now, which is a pain because I have a white one and finding things like bumpers takes forever

Most are 8 valves because they are Merit models from the early 90s, I don't think had much choice in colours with them as they were the basic model

I think its because back in the day white was seen to be a cheap, poverty colour imo so maybe they didnt make/sell as many as they did with other colours. Now though white is all the rage on new cars

Edit damn mattant beat me to it

You could get white ones for the whole time you could get Corsas, just not many people chose to.

me and a friend did it wouldnt say it was hard doing it but as mine was a L reg and unimobilised and the x16xe being imobilised , my mate had to make a wiring diagram to make it all work which i couldnt understand as im not very good with wiring but IMO x16xe are wanky oil burning engines . i went straight from that to a e16se nova gte 8v engine went straight in no problem and ran perfect whilst i had the car , ive just converted mine to the c16se engine and not had a problem with the engine at all if i was you i would go 8v mate as the 16vs always fuck up in the end

hope this helps
