This might sound like a stupid question but how do you go about finding out who owns what land etc.?
Reason being, we are thinking of buying a house which is an end of terrace and there is a driveway which goes all along the side of the house up to the garden. Next door, there is a methodist church/chapel thing but the estate agent reckons whoever owns that chapel also owns the land outside of the house (i.e. the driveway).
If we were to buy the house I'd want to buy that land that the driveway is on if possible, as I wouldn't want a load of Christians parking on our driveway every Sunday.
The driveway is fenced off BTW, with that old shitty metal fencing that you see on 1960s properties so it looks like it's been up a while.

Thanks Neo. Before I pay £4, is there a way of getting this info for free?

No. You can pay more than £4 for the same data, but only land registry hold the information and their price is cheapest.
