I just want the Kona because it looks cool



If I stuck some road tyres on it, would it not be as comfy as a hybrid??

I might use it for other bike challenges & general fitness. Used to do a bit of downhill MTB yonks ago but dont think i'll be partaking again.

Maxxis Worm Drives would be your best bet. Road tyre in the middle with nobblies on the edges.

What about a Scott Sportster 10 2011 Hybrid Bike, doesn't look too dissimilar to the Kona.

Kona plus road tyres, flat handle bars and Ergo grips. Then you can revert back for off road proper fun after the event.
