This is new. Premiums being lowered for men, and raised for women. Just curious as to why.

Where's the facepalm smilie?

As per the thread I just linked, sexist to offer lower or higher premiums based on gender. Therefore mens go down and womens go up for parity since currently men pay more. Simples.

I thought mens premiums were just more because they have more claims, but coming to think of it I bet woman have more minor claims than right offs.

I wish they'd discriminate on penis size.

My insurance would be extremely cheap

I think its discrimination, im sure statistically people of certain ethnic minorities are at higher risk then non, most i have been with have been terrible drivers.

Can you imagine an insurance company saying your insurance is more because you are asian

Insurance should be like USA. Insurance is YOURS covered driving any vehicle. It's you who are insured not the vehicle.

considering i've had 2 women rear end me in 2 years, i'd say they aren't the safest drivers on the road in my eyes.
I've been in two crashes (one in my car one not) and both times it's been a woman crashing into the car I'm in. Complete joke tbh.

Exactly, most countries do it this way iirc. We're just awkward and won't change it because the insurers will lose out.
