Me and a few mates are considering about heading to Ibiza for a week in the summer. Can anyone reccomend anywhere to stay or not for that matter! I expect we'll be wanting to stay around San An, close enough to bars etc. but far enough away, so we can chill during the day!

Any help appreciated!

Depends a bit on the budget really. The hotels around the corner from Cafe Mambo etc are the best location if you don't want mental 24/7 but be able to walk to the main strip easily - have a look on google maps. We stayed at a place on the opposite side of the bay from Cafe Mambo, nice hotel but location was a bit shit when it came to getting to the bars and back.

Also 'Central Shitty' but tbh its not bad if you go expecting a place full of folk on lads holidays etc. Its the folk who go expecting 4 star hotel quality that complain.

What age are yous all is probably the decinding factor.

Thats what I mean. But you get folk who go expecting a really nice hotel and its them who are disappiointed and moan like fuck. It has aircon, you can get this for free by pissing about with it.

The Casita Blanca is alright, but the rooms can be a sweat box if you get one of the wee tiny ones on the bottom floor.

Or if you don't care about having a pool etc and just go into a hotel nearby and use theirs then you have the roca hostel which is cheap as chips but is just a room (basically like a crappy travel lodge type thing).

All these would be ideal if you're going with a bunch of mates and are all young and want to go mental. If not there are much better places to stay, especially if you're not bother about the shitey west end (great for getting your hole off slags) but generally shite.

Have gone the past two summers, loved it. the payment system in the complex is shit tho, the basic rooms are like prison cells, so you really need to upgrade to a superior studio, they are nice and overlook the stage.
