Removed my corsa seats ( eventually ) the torx bolts are stupid.
Ive fitted some bucket seats, i fitted the pass side perfect using original bolts.
I got to the drivers side and one of the bolts will not go in, its the one closest to the handbreak ( it sits inside the runner )
i was wondering how other people have fitted there runners ? ive done the otherside fine ( pretensioner )
pictures would be great !
i was thinking about drilling down through the floor and nut and bolt, but seems to big a big box section underneath so would be a very long bolt

You need to use the sliding part of the runners to get the seat sat level either side of the runners.

its not that mate, i took the seat out and tried to put the bolt in and it was really tight astho it was going to snap, i think theres something wrong with the actual thread on the floor of the car not the bolt

 in that case drill the thread out get a little bit longer bolt, with a washer and nut on the end. At least you can still gain access to the nut. If you kinda understand lol

There shouldn't be a box section in the normal place.

there is, it doesnt go straight through to the floor there is a 10cm gap atleast to go through until you hit the actual floor, also a nut and bolt wont work as the seat runer will hit the head of the bolt.
Was thinking of welding the seat in, seems the easier option its hard to explain with no pictures

get pictures then and if you use a allen bolt not a hex type the rail wont hit bolt head

yeah you will also need to use a domed allen head bolt not the normal cylinder type as it will stop the runners when you put the seat back
