Would it be good anough to spray the roof of my car? And is it strong anough to run a spray gun?

havent tryed painting the roof yet, but it can run a spray gun, ive just painted my mates bumpers with the same compressor, its a strong little thing for the size, never let me down, ideal for small diy jobs,

Got the paint gun today and reading the instructions and it says that to make the gun run you will need 3hp or more so think i need a big compressor any one help me on what compressor i will neeed and if someone has got 1 for sale or swop then let me no cheers

hey tomo u won't need a 3hp i'm running my guns on a 1.5hp 25 litre tank look at the cfm on ur gun most guns run at 7cfm hope this helps mate

thats the gun iv brought and it says it needs 11cfm to run and a 3hp compressor to run efficianly , so what size comprssor will i need to run this?

i think u wud get away with a 1.5 or 2 hp compressor mate but need at least a 25 litre tank otherwise u will get paint splatter due to the compressor kicking in and out all the time hope this helps u steve
