Ok I bought an XE'd Astra Mk3 with the intention of putting the above parts into my Vectra, but I've changed my mind so I'd like to get back what I paid for the car by breaking it. At it's heart is a professionally built (Ashford Motorsport) XE engine making 200bhp.

Engine spec is as follows:

2.0 16v C20XE from an Astra GTE
Mahle forged competition pistons
1.5mm slipper rings
Shot preened rods with ARP big end bolts
High capacity oil pump with baffled sump
Radius ground shot peened crank
Competition Michigan 77 engine bearings
Decked block
Ported and polished fast-road spec head, porous mod done
Bronze valve guides, steel caps
High lift cams
Jenvey 40mm Throttle Bodies with Ram-Air Filter Socks
Weber 058 injectors
Nippon Denso Platinum Spark Plugs
Coilpack ignition (no dizzy)
Large mocal oil cooler
Nearly new 2.0 Radiator
F20 box with a very strong Helix organic clutch

No smoke, no nasty noises, no misfires whatsoever. No overheating. I've done 300 miles in this and it hasn't missed a beat. Starts fine from cold, even on a cold morning and idles at a perfectly 1,000rpm. Can be heard running at the minute.

I have reciepts for most of the above from Ashford Motorsport, the engine has done minimal mileage since this pro-build. One reciept here alone which doesn't have several of the major parts on it totals £3,339.590. I estimate the whole build to have cost between £5000-£7000. Engine has a dyno graph showing 192.7bhp, and went on to make 199bhp which I am waiting for the graph from the previous owner. With slightly bigger TB's and a few more revs it could make another 20-30bhp. Just be aware it's pretty f*cking loud as the revs pick up.

I also have KMS Engine Managment and race-spec loom mapped for the above, and a KMS Wideband Lambda Sensor & Display. I'm happy to split these from the engine and run them on my Corsa Turbo or DTM project, or sell complete.

Looking for £1895 for the complete package, ready to roll
£1495 for complete package without the ECU and loom
I'll deduct another £100 off either of the above if you dont need the gearbox

Like I say this would cost thousands to buy the parts, have them properly assembled and then mapped. This package will bolt directly into any Calibra on standard mounts, with any standard gearbox (even a 4WD F28). Alternatively if you're not cool enough for a Calibra it will fit a Cav/Astra, or with a conversion kit a Nova/Corsa (if you dont like good cars). If you want to go a step further and have a bad car that rusts, it would also fit a Mk1/2 Escort as a popular conversion. Be aware it's LOUD, and maximum power is found at 7200rpm.

Open to sensible offers and will P/X your old engine against the cost of this one. I can deliver anywhere in the EU if shipping is paid.

Also just to add, it seems very easy to stall the engine so it probably has a lightened flywheel on it, or at least a flat type XE one. I'll include a pot type with the sale so you can upgrade to that while the engine is out.

Ill take the gearbox with clutch if its good condition and you end up splitting.

Also if you do split I could do with a lightened flywheel.
