i am just thinking now, I am not sure it it's the x14xe his astra has.

Both the same, Should work fine providing it is that type it has, Pop the engine cover and check first.

I can only think the x14xe has HT leads and a newer z14xe would have a direct to plugs coilpack.

its not a corsa b the one he has is an astra with direct to plugs mines a tigra with leads, just wondering there must stil be 2 types of x14xe??
as in an astra its direct to plug and corsa is leads
