I have had my 1.4 sport for just over 2 years and done a few subtle mods to it.
These include-

Usual soundsytem- headunit, 6x9s uprated twweters door speakers, amp and a sub
- staright through exhaust
-powerbox
-tinted windows
-tigra white alloys etc

The car only had a montha nd a half mot and wasnt worth the work financially.
i bought a corsa sport 1.6 yesterday very low miles for the age etc.

started swapping over all the bits to my new car today and it hit me how much my car meant to me.

MY new car though i cant fault it. Its been well looked after and mechanically sound unlike my old one.
Anyone else though the same or do they find there cars just bits of metal?

I was a bit gutted when I sold my last car, only for a few days though as I realised I could build another if I really wanted to.

how many cars you had??

my first was a H, FUCKING H reg micra (4speed box, 1 lite) witch i never drove enough to get past 3rd gear (only had 1 wing mirror as std), years later i had a mk1 clio, loved it for 3 months, then a pug 306 with a 205td engine then a punto, corsa envoy, then a...............

basically i been driving 3 year and had about 8 cars, your learn to love them unless the heads gon, on a astra g and your feel like you want to scrap them in your own way grrr

I scrapped mine after 9 years - still maintain it was the most fun car I've owned and I had some wicked times in it! Worst thing was seeing on the back of a skip wagon going down the road

Didn't even get a hiab, it was an actual skip wagon!!
