Rogerio Ceni. Just surpassed 100 goals for Sao Paulo, first goalkeeper even to score that many

Someone said Clichy wasn't that good or something and Robbo went slightly mad about it then Russ came along with a big dose of FACT but Robbo still wouldn't have it.

I think he is determined to retire as he keeps reiterating his intention to quit when asked.

I reckon we will end up as Stekelenburg OR Neuer, I think we will get rid of kuszczak in the summer and lindgaard will be our new backup as i can't see either of them being handed the #1 jersey/

If he wants to retire he should. Go out on a high. It would be sad to see him stay and go downhill and make mistakes before being given the boot.

I don't want to jinx it, but everything is in place for him to step down at the end of the season on a high.

http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2011/Mar/Sir-Alex-expects-summer-buys.aspx

Sir Alex Confirms he is expecting to bring 2/3 new players in in the summer without question, I'm thinking a goalkeeper, a centre mid and maybe a young winger.

A centre back or defensive midfielder

Can't see him buying a centre back when we have Vidic, Rio, Smalling, Evans & Brown, And if he does buy a new CB i can see Brown leaving.

I like the Idea of signing Sneijder though.

Last season and this season we have come unstuck with centre back injuries. Rio is not a regular any more.

Vidic is the rock of our defence, Smalling is good cover. Evans has been a liability this season and Brown looks out of his depth at CB.

So I think we do need another quality CB and maybe get rid of someone.

Your right Rio is struggling with injuries but i think Smalling is only going to improve based on the progress he has made this season and Fergie will keep faith in them both with Evans as backup.

TBH Smalling looks like Rio's long term successor ATM and if Fergie did bring in somebody of quality to replace him it would only hinder his development.

How old is Rio? 31/32? With injuries he's had, I can't see him playing much longer.

You'll be buying a keeper for sure, can't see it being Reina anymore though. His form isn't fantastic atm and Fergie isn't a retard. Unlike Ancelotti, buying an off-form Torres
