are you putting these in an airbase scene or something, if not then whats wrong with them all looking nice and shiney as they would of been when new

i think it looks fake, especially on a scale model

hold on there was some pics of a guy that did one without any weathering il try and find, looks crap imo

thats what it would look like without any weathering

the weathering isnt just for age, it also give the metal some texture and brings out recessed panel gap details

i do on some of them it all depends on how much of the weathering wash i rub back off, the typhoon for example is fairly clean left with only some of the weathering left for panel detail purposes

weathering imo helps show the shadows you would normally get in real life.

as there is no depth to the details, the weathering is really shading, not making it look worn
