That time of year when you start to tidy up the garden, but having a few problems with the grass. There aint much of it. Any garden products you can reccomend to bring the grass back to life?

This may seem obvious, but GRASS SEED!
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

In my opinion, I'd stick new turf down.
A few rolls of turf probably wouldn't be that much more than a decent bag of grass seed.

Our front lawn was layed with Turf back in September last year but with the snow and all the rain it went really patchy.
So the grandparents inlaw came around yesterday (Gaz's GDad is a gardener) and we just raked soil into the grass and he then covered it with grass seed and fertiliser

I'd start with knowing my budget for seed and then ask someone in the centre what is best to use.
