So thought i'd put up a wee progress thread on her 'C since i've done a fair bit to it.

Found it for sale on CCUK, a nice chap goes on here & CCUK by the name of 'Vesta'

Travelled about 300 miles to Leeds area for it, went down 5 up in my mates Bora on 19's (A lot of scrubbing was done on that journey)

57k Miles, bit of history, well looked after.
Alpine Headunit & upgrade front components.

This is how it was when we collected it -

Soon as we got home the wheels got powdercoated silver -

Then after stumbling upon a picture of the very car, it must have been when it was owned prior to Vesta, it was lowered on Speedlines with an Irmy grille, so i showed the good lady and she said she wanted it to look like that again

Sold my XE Corsa to Scotty.1 on here, and a few weeks later got a good deal on his Speedlines in return for the good deal i done him on my XE (Cheers again mate)

Now that the wheels were sourced, an FK suspension kit was purchased (Shortened shocks, 60 Fronts & 40 Rears)
I never used the rears from the kit and instead used another set of rears.

Also got the front 2 windows tinted in light smoke, and the tailgate glass re tinted as it was peeling and a bit dark for reversing at night etc.

A set of Irmscher mats were also nabbed off eBay at the very last minute for a bargain price.

That sums up the past few months progress. (I also serviced it using GM oil & filter at xmas)

Next up is a grill once the OZ's sell, and the front bumper needs painted, may also smooth it at the same time.

Not to keen on the flaps either tbh but it's not my decision, i just buy & fit what i'm told to

They may grow on me over time.
