I just don't understand how an MX5 or MGF can be classed as gay?

I'm gay too, and when it's sunny with no roof on sunglasses help you to see from the sun glaring in your face
somehow the sun visor doesnt quite reach

This is what I find gay. Having the roof down even when it's not sunny. So many muppets do it, they look cold but still have to maintain an image

I've not been cold in it yet and thats going down to 3 degrees
Its just a whole different experience driving a car with no roof, and i didnt buy one to leave the roof up so goes down as much a poss.
Edit: Must admit i used to slate people for doing what i do now

Why are all the convertible owners biting back to what ignorant people are saying ?
Who cares !!!!
Cars don’t make people gay, and you have to be an idiot to think that.
Also you all have ruined this thread for AlexSXI.
Alex – If you want an honest view, I have driven a MGF, and wasn’t keen. It felt heavy and Wallowy. You are better off with an MX-5. It is a lot lighter, and alrady set up for handling.
HOWEVER !!
If you can’t get one, or insist on the MGF, then go for the black one!
It’s newer with less mileage, and looks a lot better !
You don’t need a hard top, the soft top one will work just fine, and unless you have some where to store it for 7 months of the year, you wont use it.
If you really want a hard top, then go to the garage, and ask the dealer to swap the roofs over with a little extra cash his way.

Depends if they're doing it because you're looking at them or just because they want the feeling of a nice refreshing walk, without having to walk.
I put mine down in the snow so I can get a better idea of what the car is doing on that surface.
I put it down at night if I'm pissed off and want to clear my mind a bit.
I put it down when it's sunny because it's just nice to be in the sun.
If men look at me, am I the gay one? Or are they secretly gay and wishing they were in the passenger seat like a big jealous GAY.
I'm going to start shouting GAY at anyone who checks me out.

I'd also hide my face if I was driving an MG.
